Alternative Dispute Resolution
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) trains you in negotiation, mediation, and arbitration -- the main ways disputes get resolved outside a courtroom. You'll study the legal frameworks behind arbitration and mediation, practice negotiation techniques through simulated cases, and learn how to design fair, effective dispute resolution processes for businesses, communities, or international disputes. It's a practical, skills-heavy programme: expect role-plays, mock mediations, and case studies rather than just lectures. Most students already have some background in law, business, or a related field, since ADR builds on legal and organizational knowledge rather than starting from scratch.
